Snowy Screen on Startup

Not quite sure where this should go as I don't know what's causing it.

I've been getting several Event ID 41's when resuming from sleep. It starts and then reboots giving me the above critical error. The boot screen is also snowy on startup but is fine and clear once windows has booted. I've got all the latest drivers for my stuff but no idea what's causing it.

My PC consists of:

Asus Maximum Gene V
2600K @ 4.4
Gigabyte Windforce GTX 670
Corasir Vengeance 8 GB RAM
Samsung 830 256GB SSD
OCZ ZT 650W '80 Plus Bronze' Modular Power Supply
Antec Kuhler 620 Cooler

Any pointers appreciated.

Using sleep mode with SSD's has in the past caused problems but its always been hit and miss and usually with older SSD's.

The only thing I can say is dont use sleep mode, either turn it off or leave it switched on.

I remember reading about the problems associated with SSD's and sleep mode a while back and along with defrag was one of the first things I turned off when I installed a SSD.
