Hey, I've noticed that my SNR Margin has been going crazy, I'll check my stats and it will be say 6db then ill refresh a minute later and its 5 or 7 or some other random number, it keeps jumping like this.

Any idea what could be causing this?

SNR moving around a dB or 2 is not something to worries about and is fairly normal.

People tend to notice it more this time of year as the street lights come on earlier, people's central heating comes on and people start putting cheap Xmas lights up - all of which contribute to EMI that can affect sync speeds and SNR.

Unless it's causing you a specific problem I'd not worry.

Sorry forgot to mention that when playing games online it sometimes drops to 3 or lower and disrupts game play/voice chat.

It happens any time of the day, don't think it's something to do with any of the above as I live in Fuerteventura and there's no Xmas lights/central heating around.
