Adding an entitlement to my licence.

I posted that I had run out of money and my car is no longer young enough to give lessons in, in my other thread where I was working as a vehicle delivery agent. Despite having 100% 1st time pass rate I failed part 3 twice for various reasons. I have 9 months in which to resit it for the last time or start over. TBH I could do the first 2 parts on a whim, compared to passing the Class D tests (all first attempt) they are easy. So it is not all over I am keeping my options open. With the current company I have a basic of £21,000 and as much overtime as I can legally do, so earnings aren't too bad at all and I can train as a Class D instructor with them :D

C or C+E every time, I couldn't stand having a load that talked back to me :p not to mention the pay is better.....

Congratulations though, well done. :)

Normal, well behaved people wouldn't be so bad, but it can't be pleasant having to have to deal with scrotes.

I know a couple of bus drivers and I'd have to call their people skills... unique. My usual descriptions aren't allowed on the forum :p

Well done OP, not something I would ever fancy doing but good on you for getting the licence done.

Deffo some bad bus drivers out there, it is a role for people with good people skills. As a former financial adviser and sales trainer I think I will be fine in that respect.

I considered lorry driving and I may still do my licence as conversion is pretty cheap going PCV to LGV, not so the other way around. Main problem is that I am not that into prostitute murder and class a drugs :)

I am driving in bath so a LOT of students to and from the Uni's and a lot of park and ride duty so slightly better class of passenger, but there will be a fair share of drunks and "social housing" scrotes ;)

Getting on a bus in Bath was like being on a different planet compared to any I've ever been on in Glasgow - as you say there could certainly be worse places to do it

I had a customer a while ago who was a Glasgow bus driver and he said he's never had a month without at least 1 attempted assault. He had some fantastic stories to tell, but surprisingly wasn't actually a very good driver - had to steer him away from the kerb a few times and stop him going through a give way sign.
