How have i not noticed this earlier? i played doom with vulkan api and noticed i was getting like 100 fps but no screen tearing and i was thinking wtf is going on! so did some research and find out vulkan only runs on borderless window and the no screen tearing is due to that, so i run witcher 3 on borderles window mode and turn off vsync and again no tearing! so what's the point in gsync/freesync? and why havent i heard this before? Somethings too good to be true here!

ok cool yeah i did some more research and found that windows has its own sychronisation that is still active when something is in borderless window and thats why i guess there is still some input lag? but still seems a heck of a lot smoother than using vsync as long as bordeless window isnt causing any other issues with the game.
