So,crackdown 2 is coming....

Love it, the first was awesome.
Took me ages to find all the agility orbs, still have some hidden ones to find, must get around to that.

It's the same city but really messed up?
 
so, its crackdown but with 4-player coop and what can only be described as zombies, going by them new pics? :)

Also I notice a familiar green glow of things to collect in the background of some of them images! lol
 
First one was awesome! Really looking forward to this game, and to be honest I'm suprised there wasn't a sequel sooner.
 
Vehicles are quite fun when playing co-op with the cheats enabled for dropping bombs, can send your car flying!
Also making tall stacks of barrels then blowing the bottom barrel up for maximum damage!
 
I'm a little concerned by the sequel. I loved the original, massive fan. However two things concern me :

1. It the same city. I've already explored this city, I've seen everywhere from the highest height. The sequel is going to lose out on the exploration bonus - the feeling of getting to the top of the highest tower for the first time :(

2. Zombies, monsters or whatever they are. Oh dear.

I hope I'm wrong and they'll pull it off, but it's just not looking too promising to me right now :(

1. Is it actually the same? Or is it like Skate 2's "same place but massively altered"?

2. They had monsters in the first one.
 
By the looks of it, it's the same place but with lots of changes, the Observatory is all broken down and ruined for a start

Pretty much the same - although with slight passage of time. I recognise some of the areas from the screenshots too :\

They did? I don't remember that - who/where were the monsters?
 
The Hands On thing on Eurogamer seemed to suggest it was, like Shamikebab says, a similar idea to Skate 2. They aren't stupid enough to put you in exactly the same city, with no changes. A lot of the landmarks are the same but are now damaged etc. The Agency tower also isn't the tallest building anymore.

I think they were described as lunatics/freaks in the first one. You fought them in the prison part iirc.

the so called monsters/zombies were the freaks that would be running about on all 4's gorilla style in the Shai-Gen area. there are 4 Freak gamer pics available on LIVE for 80 points at the moment.
