Getting kinda annoyed at this as it seems to get slower and slower. Everytime I boot the PC it boots up fast but as soon as Windows loads it will sit on the desktop loading and loading for around 5 minutes. I don't get it, I don't even have much running yet it takes that damn long to load processes or whatever up? I remember when it booted up and I could use it in seconds. Now if I load it up I have to wait 5 minutes before I can even open the internet, msn or whatever.

I have defragged and I have no virus or adware. :confused:

Try CCleaner. That will help you get rid of temp files etc.

And perhaps think about using nLite or vLite, depending on whether you are running XP or Vista, to remove features and bloat out of XP/Vista which'll help your OS stay running quicker for longer.

Also have you cleaned up your registry?

I use Windows XP. But I already use CC cleaner heh.

I'll give a shot at using the registry cleaners then, cheers.
