was missing from the last MW game as well if i remember correctly, the mrs was well annoyed. She use to love playing Call Of Duty 3 Online with the split screen with me.

I dont know how anyone plays a game splitscreen on anything other than a 100 inch screen, I find it too irritating. I'd rather they gave the option to power two different screens rather than splitting one

exactly same here, but CoD won so we got 2 x xboxes and 2 x tvs lol

Split screen is pretty poor, you miss out on sooo much detail! Serious playing is a no no! Started doing the ops using split screen.. got through a few. Now redone lots of them over live as you can see so much more!

I fail to see how the exclusion of split-screen is a bad thing. If Spec-Ops can manage it, why can't online multiplayer? Ridiculous. Me and my brother-in-law were extremely disappointed too. It's not our fault if you guys have ****ed up eyes and can't handle split screen.

My housemate and I during uni used to play CoD3 splitscreen on Live on his 32" Samsung CRT, was awesome fun. Yes, the graphics were terrible, but it was still great, especially when we'd jump in a jeep and just drive around the entire map with one of us on the machine gun.

I remember having hours of fun with Goldeneye 4 player split screen, of cause split screen works!

In the case of MW2 It maybe a case that in 2 or 4 way splitscreen + the potential to draw 15 or so players in each viewport = big slowdown, which would mean big graphical cutbacks.

I don't see the problem, it's just a smaller screen, some people play xbox on a 15" screen so it's not much different when you're 1/2 of a 32"!

I was just a little confused as to why there is splitscreen vs, splitscreen co-op but no split screen online.

Its not just a smaller screen I find the movement of the top or side screen in relation to my own view panel distracting to say the least.

Fair play if it doesn't bother you but I can see why they don't bother much anymore.

I played 4 player death match on the ps3 and tht was on a 40" tv and it was horrible, it gave me a headache after 10 mins, I could played all day on Mario Kart 64 and Goldeneye.
