Tbh I did really enjoy C&C1, but that was because at the time I was so in love with Dune 2 and C&C1 gave the inevitable progression of multiple unit selection. As a concept they werent far removed, and thats what made them great. Since then everything has been trying to change it with hit or miss consequences. The only change I think is really an improvement is the rts rpg hybrid which allows heroes with abilities to be your armies focus. The rest is all meh :p

They did WHAT????, one of the most enjoyable aspects of the game and they took it out!

Good job I never played it. When is Generals 2 out?

Its actually...less terrible than anticipated.

Not a out an out stinker of a game, just a rather mediocre one instead. I'll be playing it again, I actually reckon its better than RA3. Not really saying much though.

Yeah, I do own the game but never really got into it. Find the ranked matches a bit dull theyre just calculated from online video guides. Yes even in the lowest bronze divisions.

I'll try the custom games this time :)

you would have got more play time out of them and enjoyed them more then C&C 4
