I managed to get a tad disorientated and hit the top of a lampost...
It fell a good 4 meters to the ground RIGHT NEXT TO MY CAR!! (just missed - phew) I went over, straightened up the blades.... Nothing, no response, but the receiver is flashing
So i come inside, change the battery, and its still the same. I was pretty peeved at this point as everything, apart from the body shell was perfect. So wracking my brains and going back to basics i narrow the problem down to the receiver.
Now, after taking it to bits, checking all the solder joints. Everything looks fine, nothing obviously wrong...
It was at that moment i slapped my forehead and cursed myself. I had only forgotten to check the receiver crystal!! Took it out, shook it. Low and behold - its rattling.
The most basic - easy to replace bit, and i managed to spend 30 minutes taking the damn thing to bits to find the problem!
Put it all back together, whacked it on the bed. Give her a bit of gas - Whooosh, away i go again
