Just avoid rubbing the cat on your wooly jumper whilst wearing nylon slippers and you should be fine ^^

Seriously - just keep touching the central heating radiator or something and you will be ok. I barely worry about it these days, I'm always amazed at how robust chips/mobos are. Doesn't stop my backside puckering when i stab something with the screwdriver by mistake though. :D

And obviously don't touch the exposed pins on the CPU or MB...

And finally... I find toothpicks are awesome for helping mount the motherboard if you're using the fibre washers.

ok slow progress so far

thanks for the info so far and note to self make sure radiator is turned of before putting my hand on it i burnt my hand oww.

Is there any way i cando a dummy run and test the hardware componants work before installing them in the box ?

thanks again for the assistance guys

Good luck mate, you'll be fine. Touch some unpainted pipe work on your radiator and you'll be fine.

Take your time, think it through and post back if you run in to any problems.

Some people like to assemble it on the motherboard box and fire it up to see if it POSTs.

Just need CPU,RAM,GFX and PSU hooked up. Connect a monitor. Bobs your mothers brother.

yeah take a crack, and anti static stuff, just keep one hand on the case, now you can't walk away from were you are or you would have to take off your wrist band :p

hi guys

lol i didnt buy a psu but one did come with the box its proberbley an old one tho its a 450w im hoping its enough like i said before going for a budget build.

im not that impressed with the box either tbh only one fan in it in the side i was thinking to put another exaust fan in the back to help cooling i know im not running a massively fast rig but still i think it needs it.

but as is with most things in life you get what you pay for :)

must say i enjoyed fiddling last night on my way to shops no to pick up a fan and some cables.

keep the advice coming its really helpfull

kind reguards

ok guys

i managed to pick up the bits i needed this morning and woot
