So i decided to play Guildwars instead of WoW, need help!

im struggling here at the moment, i recently gave up warcraft, and decided to start playing guildwars as a light alternative and to just play as a spare time thing, not a full time grind-fest. aka wow.
i basically need some newbie stuff about GW, is there any decent websites anyone has used to learn about the game and the things available to do in it?
any help would be awesome, as like i say, im totally lost at the moment and dont feel im enjoying it as i have no clue where or what i should be heading towards
 
Google "guild wiki" and also "guild guru". Also Which campaign are you in? Add me if you need any help (Epyon The Spartan) and I can give you some help with a few guild members.
 
hi sorry, its jus the first one. i thought id start at the begining :)
being so used to wow, im just unsure about everything in this ga,e, it doesnt seem to fluid. but that might just be me lol
 
I've got all 3 campaigns so message me/add me to friends if you ever need some help. The websites I suggested will have LOADS of info for you though.
 
There's an OCUK guild who have a thread stickied at the top of this forum, they're pretty helpful chaps from what I remember and I'm planning to rejoin them myself as soon as I get off my behind and get started on Eye of the North. Why not join them and get help and emotional support on all aspects of the game 24/7? :D

Ah, I remember being young and noobish and not being able to find where the henchmen in Ascalon were standing until a guildie mapped in and pinged the exact spot on the map for me...:p
 
Join up with the Godless Guild, lots of us will help if we're online.

As previously said i use guildwiki and guildwarsguru, the official GW site is also useful.
