So I got my NEC 20WGX2....

And it's got pretty bad backlight bleed. But guess what? I couldn't care less! This is an awesome monitor and it looks a treat (no dead pixels, great colours) and at a great price, so I'm deffinately keeping it. I can see why it might annoy some people but to be honest I wouldn't have known about the problem of backlight bleed if I hadn't been on these forums. All in all I couldn't be happier... Good value for money IMO and the space saved from moving to a flat screen far outweighs any problems with bleed. I'm VERY satisfied. Anyone else feel the same?

yup me too

you can only see the backlight bleed if your watching movies with 2 black strips across the top and bottom

or if your going looking for it

i dont use this monitor for movies. so doesnt bother me at all
