Just picked up a PSP myself for £72 from ebay (1.50, 1Gig card) bargain. Arrived today and after 5 minutes I had 3.71 M33-4 running after following an easy guide.
All because my sister's boyfriend bought one for his son.
Now I'm after the Sega Mega Drive collection as I had a play of it and loved it.

metal gear solid portable ops and GTA: liberty city stories are great.
are they watered down much though? i find DS games are VERY linear...even FF3 on DS is extremely linear imo (not that psp will be the same though as its in a different league!). i guess i expect too much from these handhelds though.
Portable Ops is different in many ways to the main MGS games, but I don't know if watered down is the right way to put it. It's definitely less linear than the main ones.
You have to remember FF3 was originally a NES game, so that's probably why it seems watered down compared to the later FF installments.

well, gta is...a little, but not much.. the frame rate gets a little choppy but put it this way, my total playing time is 16 hours and im only 35% through
i am on the 3rd island though. its great fun.
portable ops, well, thats whole differnt kind of fun. its like metal gear solid but with teams and tactics thrown in. capture enemies, convince them to join your own team assign then to different tasks on your team, to increase research speed (for new weapons and things), or healing speed, spying different enemy bases...its very in dept actually. it a whole break out of jail and infiltrate the enemy as a team type game. its a great game also.
