Hi all.

Is there a simple fool-proof way of being able to save EVERYTHING settings-related on Vista Ultimate x64, format the hard drive, and restore it to exactly the same conditions as it was before the format?

I'm talking

- toolbar shortcuts
- sleep settings
- visual settings
- graphics card settings
- program settings

etc.etc. ...

Thanks in advance.

Correct, I want a clean start-again install.

What's the best way to do this? Or do I just have to bite the bullet and redo all my settings etc manually?

I think there are too manay individual reg settings and files scattered all over the show, so saving every setting you have ever ticked isn't really possible. It should be in theory, but the way the OS has been built up over time without this in mind makes it obviously very difficult. Personally i'd bit the bullet unfortunately :(
