and i did not sink
I own a 2011 alienware m17x r3 and done a lot of reading outside of OC that i would run into problems with driver compatability etc if i upgraded to windows 10. so i ripped the laptop open and ran win10 for a week on a spare drive, after a week i took the plunge and upgraded for real and i must say i am so glad i did, my laptop is running better now than it ever did everything is working as it should, the only thing that is not working is switchable graphics and i can live without that my main graphic adaptor is set as primary, all drivers that are installed are the bog standard ones that windows has choosen for me
overall a happy bunny with windows 10 and cannot so far fault the OS.
