So - I jumped off Macau Tower

you have massive balls to do that.

I hope the person who pushes you off has some kind of line too as I bet some people instinctively try to grab him when their falling.

The crew are harnessed to the deck, they don't push you - just hold on and let go as you lean yourself forward. Some people have a tendency to bend knees and that's a really bad way to fall off so they pull them back if they think they are not committing to the fall.

I done a jump in NZ at Lake Taupo where you can get dunked into the water. I kacked myself doing that and the video that I had of me doing it shows my knees buckling just as I was getting to that point of no return :D I thought it was about 180 meters. Just checked the website and it's a titchy 47 meters  I thought that was bad! You sir, have muchos grandos ballsoze

Awesome!
I love Bungy Jumping, spent a day doing it at Cairns, Australia last year. I did a skydive the day before and Bungy is definitely a bigger adrenaline rush if anyone is curious.

I'd definitely advise getting a day ticket, after the first jump you'll be eager for more, and can try some more adventurous jumping styles (backwards, running jump with a waist harness, etc) The most intense jump I did was called a "reverse elavator" where you shuffle to the end of the plank, lock your hands behind your neck so your arms form a neck brace with you looking up, then turn around and hop backwards off so you fall with your body vertical looking up at the platform receding until you get jerked over by the rope. This was one of my last jumps but it was orders of magnitude more scary whilst falling than any of the others I did that day - there's something about having your arms incapacitated and not being able to see what you are falling towards.

Some advice to anyone planning to do a jump - try and throw yourself into it, diving off the tower gives a far smoother and more enjoyable experience than dropping or falling off with your body tensed up.

Sod the jumping malarky. I went to M&D theme park near Motherwell last month and queued for a crappy little ride called the magic carpet, It looked pants. Just moved up anf down and went round and round. Wee kids were shouting 'weeeeeee' and doing it without holding on. So like idiots, my girlfriend and I with her brother, her son and his friend jumped on it. We done nothing but slagg it off the whole time we were in the queue. When that thing started though there was mobiles, money and I'm sure a pair of gnashers came skidding up the back towards me and the rest of the motley crewe. My life flashed before my eyes and only burst out laughing because I was so scared. I lay in my bed that night and I swear I could still feel mysellf getting chucked about. :D Looks crap but it's awesome:cool:

Fair play dude; I looked at this and thought 'Meh, another bungee jump, why bother posting', but then I saw that you fell for about 10 years, and it scared me.. So well done :D. Brave soldier.
