So - I jumped off Macau Tower

You gave me that funny gut, terrified im gona die feeling from just watching that vid. DAMN YOU!

Lol, fair play mate u got ballz of steel i would never do that as well accidents can happen and so if it did happen u have just jumped off 233m top willingly to ur death. Nope not for me. :p

I really want to do basejumping/skydiving myself, and funnily enough I'd have more trust in a parachute than a bungy rope. Relying on a stretchy cord doesn't seem too appealing :p
Don't know which is safer though.

Grats for big balls :p

Was thinking the same thing, I wonder which is the safer, I think people would assume the bungee cord but I really feel that a base jump would be safer, I wonder which is actually true.

Starting in 1981 and as of May 9, 2010 there have been at least 147 fatalities related to the sport.[14] BASE jumping is one of the world's most dangerous recreational activities, with overall fatalities in 2002 estimated at about one fatality per sixty participants. [15] Another study reported the fatality risk as 1 in 2,317 jumps over the period 1995-2005 in Norway only.[1

roughly one death for every 100,000 jumps for parachutes(not including the idiots who think they can base jump in crowded citys/areas),no idea for bungee

I was about to come in here and tell you that you didn't jump off the Macau they winched you off but then I realised you did!

When I did the crappy winch jump thing they had no bungee!

Good on ya m8, that's class, bet you was buzzing big time :)

Done 4 bungee jumps myself but all your standard UK crane height oh and one indoor at an old Sheffield steel works which was 150ft. Deffo something i think every one should have a go at, should make it part of the school curriculum :)

Looks excellent mate. I'd like to say I'd be all over the idea like a cheap suit but I think when it came to it I'd be as far away from that tower as possible.
