Anything i should know before trying to install it? I've had a look at a few guides, looks simple enough. Though i don't have an anti-static wrist strap thingy.. if thats needed.

Is it a replacement PSU or new build?

If it's a replacement take a pic or two of the old PSU in situ so you can refer to it.

If it's a new build just keep the manual close to hand - and post here if you hit a problem.

You'll find it's pretty straight forward once you start - it's scarier than it looks.

EDIT: and if you do run into problems list your spec.

should have a 20/24 pin for the mobo and a 4 pin for the mobo.

with 1 or 2 6/8 pin connectors for a graphics card, rest should be for hard drives/dvd drives.

older motherboards use a 20 pin connection to supply the power to the motherboard, newer motherboards use a 24 pin connection.
On the main motherboard connector the last 4 pins should be loose, ie they clip on to make it a 24 pin one.

Also modern motherboards require that you also connect a 4 or 8 pin connector for extra power to the CPU.

Ok my specs:

+5Vsb --- 2.OA(PURP).-12V --- 0.3A(BLUE). +12V2 --- 14.OA(YEL/BLK)
