i have a 550w fatal1ty

i want to know if IT WILL WORK.

strained it may be but

with my system, i will give u a run down,

1 motherboard, 2x2x2x2 4 sticks of memory,, so 1 at 1.5v ea.

2 hard drives sata
1 ssd
8 fans.

overclocked 1100t to 4ghz up from 3.3

cd rom

now, 1 gtx 570 sonic platinum from palit.

here is my question.

i am hovering over the "buy now" button for another sonic platinum

so ill be using 2, with my 550w psu.

will it work? thats all

Define work. For how long, and under what conditions. I think it'll be fine much of the time, but leaving furmark running in a hot room would be pushing your luck a bit far.

It's not a great idea running a psu on/over it's limit, as there's a definite chance of it dying & killing your shiny new card in the process.

Personally I'd want a good 650 to give some bedroom. A 550 is more than likely not enough, those X6's do draw a lot of power.
