On the road....
As the title.

I'm looking to upgrade my existing setup which comprises of the following.

#1 Machine.
A64 3000+ Sct 939
Geforce 6800LE 128MB AGP
1GB (4x 256MB PC3200) RAM
Nforce 3 AGP Mobo (Gigabyte)
160GB SATA Drive
80 GB IDE + 120GB IDE drives.
400Watt PSU

#2 Machine.

Pentium 4 1.7Ghz
512MB PC2100 DDR RAM
Geforce 3 AGP 64MB (Not a "Ti")
200GB IDE drive.
250Watt PSU!

I'm wondering if its possible to get BF2 to run to any playable extent on the P4 machine even if I fit a card that'll handle BF2 to that machine with its 512MB RAM & slow cpu etc, so, I'm considering simply bumping my #1 machine down to #2 and then building a new #1 machine outright.

I have £500 - £600, perhaps, more if the extra outlay is worth it to spend on the upgrade, not including case's etc as I would use existing monitors / keyboards etc.

The main requirement is two machines that handle BF2 on busy on-line servers. I was already considering a 2GB RAM upgrade for the #1 machine to improve BF2 and would still go ahead if I built a new #1 machine from scratch.

So, what would be my best bet?

Any advice appreciated. :)

Tempting :) - I live in Stoke, so, can save on the shipping!

Forgot to mention my #1 Machine has a 128MB Geforce 6800LE. :o

I'm now thinking I'll need a new PSU!
