And come to the conclusion that my psu is knackerd :(

A guy was testing something and pointed out that if you have fans pluged in via molex they should work right ?

Well i did and have tried it and nothing not a whirl

Brand new Corsairair HX750w had it about 4 days maybe a little more...

Any other way to test this ?

As you can gues im new at this and slightly annoyed now.

I was sure it was a duff mobo and promptly purchased one it arrived this morning.

any ideas ?

Cheers !

Funny thing is what started as an upgrade seems to have gone FULL build

Started with a XFX 6970 - XH750w

Old case was getting way to hot in there for my taste...

Then got a Corsair H70 cooler

Bought a Mm Monticle18 - 8-120m yate loons some fancy grills etc

And now a New Mobo which is a

Asus Rog Maximus III Gene

Im well out of pocket and comfort zone

Loving it :D

We have all been there. What started as an upgrade to my machine turned out to be a whole new system costing well over £2000, it was only mean't to cost 500 o0

Well im glad to say it is working now

I built it all out on the table and all is working now...

Turned out i was right first time round and it was a dead mobo.
(must not have been carefull enough removing it before)

So psu is fine :o

but the new mobo is so much better in looks and features haha

time to stick it all in the case and play!

Few weeks time ill have to buy some decent Ram
atm i just have some generic ugly stuff inside :(

But rest of the build is the Dogz best ive had so happy

Sorry for the various random posts
been bricking it...

Cheers !

This is one of the issues people who builds systems can encounter. The people who build PCs for a living normally have test components of each area. This can diagnose a fault really quickly.

When the components go, it's a matter of RMA time. You will get used to it eventually if you ever fix more. Comes to second nature over time.
