Well my hard drive was getting a bit full so I thought I'd uninstall some old games I don't play...

Hmmm... perhaps I won't uninstall that one as I'll probably find half my hard drive empty.

Also a bit odd that renegade and red alert 2 are the same size... Must be some seriously messed up installing folder choices.

Windows add or remove menu often misjudges the real size of installs. So just ignore the 40+ gb its showing.

I own a copy of every C&C game plus 2 extra copies of redalert for some reason but I went out and bought The First Decade anyway because having them on 1 DVD with a single installer is worth it.

It is considering installing all the games means inserting over 15 CD's and entering numerous amount of serial numbers plus to play the majority of the games you have to carry all those CD's around with you, find and insert the correct one when you want to play, it's so much hassle, not to mention all the patches that have to be downloaded. Also getting some of the early ones to play nice with XP, let alone Vista is hard.

I did a similar thing, bought the first decade when i had a few of the games i had already. It just seemed a cost effective way of getting the others. They may be on the one disc, but they still have individual key codes for them all, which is a pain!

You've reminded me to re-install it, I still haven't completed bits of it. Just need to drag myself away from TF2...

But the The First Decade don't have the Red Alert addons (Aftermath & Counterstrike)...going by the back of the box

I bought the RA pack, with Counterstrike and Aftermath and found that only Aftermath actually worked, Counterstrike didnt actually install anything.

Very strange, might have to install them again, have the RA EA Games budget game as misplaced my original disks. I did find though that it was ridiculously hard in skirmish and ran very fast, so was taken out within about 3mins of starting the game.
