I've had it since tuesday, but refused to turn it on until today, when my 26 inch Samsung turned up. Wow it looks fantastic.

Started with some PGR3 and spent about an hour hugging the walls until I 'unlearned' my Ridge Racer style need to drift around every corner. Such a beautiful game. Shame it doesn't have any AA, that would top it off.

Then I broke open Hitman, looks just the same as the PC demo I played, and to be honest I can't get to grips with the control scheme for adventure or fps games on consoles, as I spend all my time looking at the floor. I'm going to give it a few days and if I still don't have any luck, I'm gonna go back and get the PC version.

I also have GRAW, with cheesy faceplate and cheesier dogtag keyring, though I haven't had a chance to play it as PGR3 seems to have destroyed my entire day. That's tomorrow :D

All in all its a very nice piece of kit, and on the whole well thought out, except for the length of the lead between the console and the power brick, which limits where I can put the console. The interface is top notch and very responsive. Its fairly noisy, but not any noiser than my PC.

Anyway, I think its time for a few hours sleep before I start playing again, and then somehow convince myself to go to work on monday! :D

Congrats m8 :D You must have some willpower there, not to turn it on ;)

Some of the newer games coming out look awsome. Definitely a brilliant purchase

Just completed the GRAW single player and i was extremely impressed. I had the game sitting about for months [well, the whole xbox, while i finished 1st year of uni] and i was blown away by it. It was a bit short but i loved it all, and some scenes truly make you

One for rental or a £10 second hand jobby is King Kong, its very very good in my opinion, only about 5 hours long but I just can't get enough of it.

McDaniel is about the only other person on OcUK who thinks its any good mind. :p

Yeah might pick it up for rental.

GRAW single player is much fun. Tried coop with my brother but it all went into first person and we seemed to lack the ability to use cover (you could only stare at the wall, FPS style) hence we died very quickly.

Probably gonna try a bit more PGR3 now, lets see if I can drive straight :D

King Kong is a short game, but quite good for a rental - and is best with some good sound as Kongs roar is nice :D

Its quite atmospheric in places aswell, but i wouldnt by, just rent :)

I Loved King Kong - really surprised me as I wasnt looking forward to it in the bundle. But as mentioned its quite easy so rent it if you can.

LOL. I'm starting to feel like a right n00b. I've been playing King Kong for about 10 hours now and have only got to about chapter 10 of 39. I don't keep dieing that often, either. :p

Brilliant!

Great game if you can keep it going, the chapters do fly by at the end mind. ;)

You done anything with a VRex in yet, got my heart racing a few times as those parts especially are so well done. :)

I've only seen the V-Rex at the point where Jack and Hayes are opening the gate and you have to keep the dinosaur away from them. That is one of my best bits so far - and also seeing the brontosaurs. This game does invoke a feeling of awe at times - it's very well done indeed.
