Are you gonna drop your prices or release the 8 core/12 thread 6ghz monster youve been hiding up your sleeves? 9900KS 5ghz @ ~£500 isnt going fo do it for you. This is the first AMD platform ive been interested in for well over 15yrs. I was in the market to upgrade my 8700K to the 9900K, then i heard about the upcoming 9900KS but now AMD have totally rocked the boat... decisions decisions ^_^ ^_^

I don't expect Intel to release anything like the C2D were at the time.
More likely just hand-picked CPUs at high clocks at high prices.
For general use, AMD have pretty much covered from the bottom up.
The only "issue" was IPC, which seems to be addressed with the coming Ryzen.

My 8700k is still holding up, but with recent security issue with HT I'm looking to jump ship. I'm looking at AMD for the first time as well. If x570 mobo prices are high I'll just hold out for zen3 or next intel don't know yet. Still need zen 3000 reviews?

Your not going to see a lot from intel for at least the next 12 or so months, they have reached the end of the line of plusses on 14nm and 10 is still a **** show plus it prob wont improve matters over 14++++++++ anyway

They will spaff out special binned chips, cannibalised server stuff and folk will lap it up while being ridiculously flawed but it will still sell. Everyone else who knows there stuff will move to Zen2.
