I was reading a short news article in either Custom PC or PCFormat about OCZ's latest DDR3 offering which was something stupid like PC14400...

...So just wondering has anyone splashed out on DDR3 yet? Worth it?

i looked into it when i got my new mobo last week but the sad fact is nobody is stocking the stuf reviewd i dunno why maybe its all waiting for a christmas release

Will be important soon, can't use it for much right now to be completely honest, because of latency and un-optimized memory controllers. When massproduction & availability increases there will be a much better market for it, which will result in price decreases.
