After seeking much advice I have bitten the bullet and ordered my shopping list. Topped with the i7 950 @ 4.0GHZ, more Corsair bits than I can shake a stick at and a highly recommended OCZ Vertex 2E SSD.
Now, if the Mrs' finds out how much all this lot cost she'll hit the roof!
