So it's official the Asus P8P67 range - Avoid?

I sure won't be buying and Asus board when I build a Bulldozer system in June. At work we've just placed our first order for a batch of socket 1155 boards and I've made very sure ASRock and MSI got the nod for those.

You do know that ASRock is basically just the budget version of Asus right? Same company.

Asus must have had the most boards back imo after speaking to several pc shops and reading on here they say asus board has been the most returned board since p67 was released.

Nope, not any more, they're there own company now, and they were one of the co-founders of Asus.

So you are correct.

However, If one were to boycott Asus for whatever reason, I would assume one should also boycott Asrock considering the close connection.

You're wrong about the co-founder bit though, but I think that's probably because you've just worded it badly.
Asrock couldn't have been one of the co-founders of Asus, considering Asus created Asrock and didn't do so until 2002. One of the co-founders of Asus is a chairman for Asrock though.
