It's that time for an upgrade.

Currently have the find x2 pro. Has probably been my favourite phone to be honest.

S22 Ultra. Best screen... Pen (maybe?)... Updates for longer.
Slow charging....not so great battery? Looks quite bland.

Oppo... Good screen... Cameras on par with S22(?).. Super fast charging...cheaper! Only 256gb this time... (x2 was 512)

It should be easy to go oppo but it's more of the same so I'm torn..... Feels like I'm missing out and more like an incremental upgrade?

Thoughts?
 
Yeah a really weird upgrade time this one.

Also been reading how the S22 isn't in the best shape software wise and glitchy.

Like everything at the minute paying more for small increments it seems.

Also missed out on the pack of goodies with the Oppo which sweetened the deal... Not sure they will offer anything else (I'm currently with EE and get friends and family discount) so kinda have to stay with them. Last time I got some nice Bose headphones.
 
Same for charging.. Not had a problem with battery to be honest on the X2 but a quick zap for 10 mins if needed and all good.

S22 slower charging and have to buy a bloody charger too! Lol... Its really pathetic to be honest. I know what I should do.... But the lure of newer is better is strong.... Just not that much in this case.

Problem is there isn't much choice. Not a fan of apple so S22 X5 or you go back to Google.
 
Yeah does feel like I need to wait for the `next` phones otherwise feels a little bit of a downgrade (even though on paper it's not)
Smaller memory and slower charging (Samsung) it just feels weird.

Pretty sure the S22 ultra seems to have gone up a couple of quid a month since I first looked too even with 30% off it don't feel right.
 
so its upgrade time next week -

Now £9 per month in it between the 256gb Ultra or the X5pro .... was waiting for the Sony - might have had a chance but now not the case - battery life will probably be poor.
Probably the most underwhelming upgrade Ive had in recent years... feels like a slightly different (S pen ect) V a Negligible upgrade from the X2.... don't think I could wait for Pixel7 or indeed Next iPhone etc to see what they are like.
 
Yes was tempted with the 6pro as its quite a bit cheaper. But seems like battery ain't too good on that either.

Think the only thing that's really stopping me with ultra now is the slower charging.. Battery life (?) and having to buy another brick.

Oppo has some bonus ear buds too.
