So it's been a few years since i made this machine and just wondering if i can take a few parts with me to a small upgrade. If you have parts in mind that would work with the old that would be great.:D

Old build i mean old:
MOBO: GA-Z77-D3H
CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K
GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 680
RAM: Team-Elite-1600 2x4GB 1600mhz
SSD: Adata Premier Pro SP900 128GB
HDD: Seagate ST3640323AS 640GB old build before that had it :(
PSU : Centauro XTK-CB-1000WM little overkill
Cpu cooler: Corsair Hydro Series H100i
Case: Thermaltakes level 10GT

Parts i was going to take were the GPU, HDD, SSD, CASE, COOLER, and the PSU

Parts i was looking at are these
CPU: Intel Core i3-6100 3.7GHz Dual-Core Processor
MOBO: Gigabyte GA-H110M-A Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2133 Memory

think i got all of it it down may have missed some sorry

feel free to change as it budget is around £300-350 not much

Personal opinion would be assuming there is nothing wrong with your current motherboard (thereby necessitating some new kit), or a specific new feature that a new board provides, then it doesn't seem like much of an upgrade - more a sidegrade.

The 3570K whilst a few years old is still a decent performer - the i3 6100, will have the edge in lightly threaded games/apps due to the improvements made in Skylake and Haswell, and has a small clock speed advantage - however in multithreaded apps the 6100's hyperthreading is no match for 2 extra physical cores in the 3570K.

The DDR4 you have mentioned is the slowest available, and in certain instances may be slower than your current DDR3 due to higher latencies - there is much faster DDR4 available (although obviously at a price).

Personally if you want to refresh your PC, I would be looking at a new graphics card (although you don't say what games or what resolution you play at, the 680's 2GB may be becoming a limiting factor for you).
A bigger/newer SSD (and/or a new storage hard drive), would also be something you could look at.

Maybe something like:

If you are just gaming then stick with the i5. Going for an i3 is a bit of a backwards step.

I agree with Armageus that all you really need is a new GPU (If your current one is struggling) and SSD (If you need the extra storage).

That Xigmatek PSU isn't the best thing in the world qualitywise, but you are only running a single GPU so you should be fine.

I agree completely with the other's. If you want to upgrade something then get a new gpu and SSD and overclock the 3570k if not already done.

Any recommends for just a gpu then got more than enough space left on my ssd and hdd not to worry.

EDIT: would love to get something cheap but an upgrade

The GTX 970 and R9 390 are both good cards for 1080p resolution, and the performance is very similar. So either the XFX one listed above, or something like a Zotac GTX 970 if you prefer Nvidia.

Keep your current CPU/motherboard/memory OP and just upgrade your graphics card with your money. The 3570k is still plenty capable, especially if you overclock it, and it's actually more powerful than the i3 you've mentioned. Also get a bigger SSD as others have mentioned and you should be set for gaming for a while yet.
