Do it, the ex has in a backwards way offered me it. To be honest I don't particularly like her that much, but I most likely will one night after a few.
 
I've never even managed a no strings one night stand. I don't think she's trapping you, that's a demented thing to say, but it's certainly possible she wants to get closer to you without making a commitment.

Why did you split in the first place? (Don't say if you're not comfortable with it, it's your private life.)
 
Its not usually a 'me' thing to do, but with an ex ex we decided to become 'buddies' for a while, it was fine :) Didnt always do it, still just chilled together, and when one of us got into something... we ended it.

If you are going jump aboard the good ship "Ex Girlfriend for a Reason", then be really careful that the easy, free sex doesn't cloud your perception of where this is likely to lead. A few previous posters have touched on it and it's likely to end in tears. Yours, hers, or maybe both.

If both of you are absolutely clear that it's just for sexy fun then get stuck in. If either of you think it may lead somewhere else then avoid. Experience of many, many people indicates that this is unlikely to go in a positive direction.
