Just took mine back to $^%* and got a refund.

They replaced my first one after one of the gear flippers started playing up.

My replacement model was even better. There was a massive degree of 'absolute nothing' when turning away from the centre position. Slack basically. I would turn the wheel quite a bit from the centre before it had any affect on a game or provided any feedback and response to me.

Took a look at it this morning and just realised it's not worth the money for me. When MS produce something that's worth it, I might get another. Unless there's something decent lined up for the PS3 that's compatible with the 360 in the future (I know, no chance).

I've had my MOMO for about 3 years and it's taken some hammering on the PC. Other owners should know what I'm saying when I say that that is one robust and well made product. The value for money on that thing is just excellent.

Would not say the MOMO wheel is robust, take a search of RSC to see how many people have peddle problems with it, quite common, but Logitech have a good warranty.

I got given MS wheel as a pressie. It lasted one session. Took it round my m8's who got it me to show him Forza and was broken.

He returned it to the shop. They had technical bulletins about loads of faults. In the end he got a refund and they are not on the shelves anymore. Looks like a poor design.

Maybe so. But I've had a few PC wheels over the years and it's by far one of the better models on the market. I've had wheels that break within the first day of use before.

I'm sure there are going to be MOMO owners who have problems but I'd say the vast majority would agree it's a good product. Either that or I'm the lucky one who has a solid wheel after years of good use.

Yup. It's poorly designed and has a number of flaws by the look of it.

Was chatting to the guys at &£%$ today and discussing the major problem regarding the fire risks. They will manufacture again once they've ironed out these things but I doubt the wheel itself will be much sturdier.
