44yrs married, would have served a life sentence and be free by now.36 years together, married for 31 years.
Have kids and grandkids, I've finally grown into my grandad body.
Remember ladies/gents.
Marriage isn't a word, it's a sentence.
How you enjoy that prison time is of your own making![]()

Today marks the anniversary of 16 years together. How long have you been with your partner?
Yeah, I keep saying I'm not going to be rushing into thingsIt'll be 8 years this year. Not married. Pressure is increasing but I think @mattyg has just done me a solid and bought me an extra few years
7 years.
While we're at it, my date of birth is 22/03/1987, my favourite colour is blue, my first pet was called Rover, my first car was a Peugeot 206, and my mum's maiden name is Richardson. Happy now?
:edit: what are these tax reasons I hear about? The offsetting some personal allowance thing is a joke so I hope it's not just that![]()
You don't have to pay tax on interest free loans. For example. My Mrs won a car on a competition. We sold it for £106k and paid a chunk of debts off. Including my personal credit cards... Were going to have to record that and pay tax on the Gift. Unless we can all it a loan
Had we been married then it would have been cheaper. Both Higher rate payers
Unless i'm out of touch
