Not just mine but at least eight others in my street got my wing mirror kicked off and two large deep scratches down my driver’s side panel. Other people got bricks through there windshield bricks bounced off their bonnet, all sorts. At least another two streets got the same treatment.

Seems like a group of lads strolled down the street hitting out and just randomly attacking cars, and apparently it took the police 40mins to show up and by that time they were long gone. It’s all been reported now and I’m waiting on the police arriving, they are visiting all the people who had damage done to their car.

I’m so ***** angry just now, what an absolute bunch of scumbags they need a proper good kicking if you ask me, even if they do get caught (which I doubt they will) they will probably just get a slap on the wrist and told off.

Has anyone had something similar done to their car and what happened as a result? Was the damage to your car covered under criminal damage or did you have to claim it on your insurance?

No swearing please. Words need to be fully blanked.

Gilly.

Feel for you mate. :(

Hope you get it sorted.

Had the same last year when i had my Megane Coupe, was over at my sisters and a couple of drunk gits went along the whole street booting cars etc... booted a big dint in my wing, so i wont ever take a car over there again, had it scratched and all sorts as well, thats the trouble when you have something sporty etc... so i wont ever get another sporty car, got a brand New Focus Ghia now, its just a Focus, millions of em about aint been touched yet, and ive had it since last June 9 months.

Advantage of getting a car like everybody elses is, whoever wrecks em would have passed the same car millions of times before they got to yours, not saying it wont ever get done like as it will, you can guarantee it, everybodys car gets done at some point, but it wont happen as often as something sporty etc...

Got rid of the Coupe as it was always getting done as said, got fed up, so decided just to get a normal car that everybody else has, and with the Focus, well they are as common as human beings, so if anyone wants to wreck a Focus, then they could have wrecked one of the billions they passed before they got to yours.

It seems like there are more and more random acts of vandalism carried out against cars these days.

You'd have to claim on insurance for something like this.

Sorry to hear it :(

This is one good thing about living opposite a working mens club in Yorkshire is that if this happened here, within 2 minutes you would have 30 ****** up ex Rugby players outside giving them the hiding of a life time.

feel for you m8

had this a couple of weeks ago

the audi lost a wing mirror and the punto gained some bare metal scratches ouch

Im sure this is getting more common, there was a news story not long back about a load of cars in a street having all their tyres slashed, not just 1x each, was all 4x on every car.

Seems to me like once its made the news, then it occurs all over the place, as the vandals hear about it and go 'lets do that hehe', and before you know it, it will happen in every street in England.

I’ve just been out talking to some of the neighbours and apparently there was all sorts of things going on last night, two burnt out cars were found in a car park near by and another street of cars has also been vandalised, so that’s three streets in total, hope the wee numptys get caught.

my whole street (pretty long) had all the cars including mine sprayed with orange paint. :(

Absoulout gits, they need to find something better to do than ruin other peoples property.

National service would do wonders I strongly believe
