Hiya,

I got a pre-build OC'd rig from OCUK in Jan 2010, it came with a i5-760 (2.8GHz) overclocked to 4.01 GHz. Today I noticed that the overclock is stock. The only hardware changes I've made is getting a second GPU (Sapphire Radeon HD 6850), as well as an additional 2x2GB RAM set (it's identical to the one I have, Corsair XMS).

What could've caused the CPU to revert to its stock frequency?

As above - it's probably as result of filling all the DIMM slots in a i5-760 set up - especially as it's a considerable clock.

You should have an OcUK profile saved in your BIOS with all your overclocked settings saved.

I would remove the additional memory, load you OcUK profile within the BIOS and get the rig stable with your new card.

Once stable i would make note of your clocked settings and then add the additional memory again. If it loses the clock again you will need to tweak your BIOS settings - maybe even reduce your clock.

Additional: You could try a post in the Bundles and Systems Support in the Customer Services Forum.

They wont be obliged to help as your warranty has expired and you've added components to the original build - but they may offer some quick generic settings/voltage tweaks to try and get things stable.

Worth a try...
