Am going to be buying a new mouse shortly as my G5 has developed the VERY irritating habit of switching off and on about every 10 minutes!

I've used it for 6 years now so I have had excellent value out of it and it was the bees knees when I bought it.

What would be a logical replacement. I don't have any budget constraints. I play first person shooters the majority of the time.

G700 if you fancy a wireless mouse. G500 if wired is your preference. Both are very similair in shape and feel to the G5. When my G5 packed it in, logitech replaced it with a G500 for free. Meant i didnt have to get used to using it as it was so familiair to my old mouse.

Contact Logitech Customer Services, I did so after my MX1000 Laser decided to stop charging.

They sent me a 50% off Discount Code to use on their store. Making the G700 a rather tasty £44.99 Delivered! (Cheaper than anywhere else)

It's on its way to me right now, well.. UPS Say it's in the Nederlands :p

What did you say to them in the message to get the 50% off, my G5 is jittering every now and then have checked for fluff, dust, hair and it's clear. I've already ordered a new g700 but wouldnt mind a 50% off code for a backup/work mouse.

I emailed them and said how my MX1000 no longer charges, and asked if it can be repaired or if I can source a replacement battery from them,

Sent an email off to Logitech for the G5 which has pointer skipping both in game and on desktop, they've told me that the mouse is still in warranty and they're sending me a replacement. I don't know what they're sending but cannot fault that for customer service.
