My parents for some unknown reason decided to purchase a 206 Hdi. Im hoping they did it for the lulz or because they liked the carpet trimmings used on the door panels. Anyway there is hole in the bottom on the center console and I am at a loss as to what should be there.

The hole in question. Yes the plastic really is that crap and shiney, makes my Megane look like a premium product. Now seeing as its possible to identify a random auto gear level from a picture Im confident somone can identify whats missing.

In all honesty I wouldnt be supprised if it came out of the factory like that. Ive not had a poke round the rest of the car so could be an ashtray. Come on 206 owners dont be shy. I personally promise that I wont ridicule you.
 
It's the ash tray. It's a unit you can pop out to empty.

My other half needed a new car after writing off the 206 (woo!). So made her buy the practical SAAB 9-5 estate. She loves it, so it's epic win all round.


Oh, and there's not meant to be anything under the ashtray but a cable and LED for the ashtray.
 
Most annoyed at her, we depoluted a 406 exec at the workshop today, i got the fogs and alloys off and then the wife rang asking me to take her to look at the cars i spotted earlier (1.4 megane coupe and 1.8td focus) Ideal, get home and now she wants to go and see a 206cc. Get back to the yard and they've put it on the truck and weighed it in, TAKING THE HEATED LEATHER SEATS and rear electric windows with them! ARGH!

I shouldnt worry I doubt the seats were in nice condition anyway after what, 10-14 years?
