So... recommend me some PS3 games!

It's not quite as integrated as Live either, but Sony has Home in the works which should act as the middleman for the console.

People still got them ordered they just stopped the code for cheapies. Probably generated a lot of hits on a site no one had heard of before.

£290 as you paid is about what i'm willing to pay.

I've been looking the last few days and they have all gone way over £300, the next one to end on there is currently at £350 plus £20 p+p which is crazy.

I did consider buying one a couple of weeks back on the MM.

I'm not in a great hurry, theres loads coming on the wii and 360 I want to play between now and xmas.
 
I only want a PAL machine and brand new.
I'll have to wait until they retail for a similar price to what I paid for my Xbox 360 last year.
I don't mind about another £50 more cos of the blue-ray player but I can't justify the current retail price of the PS3.
After having a play with Resistance and F1 on a mates PS3 I'm sold on the idea of having 2 consoles.
Who knows, perhaps Mr Sony will wake up and do a decent price reduction ready for Xmas.
Something has to surely give seeing that MS have recently dropped the Xbox 360 prices.

Ah ha! You're another one.
Sat through a Sony employee today praising it and some of its other features today. He did give an excellent presentation though and he knew his stuff.
I'd say his was definitely the best of them all.

Sorry I wasn't around Kreeeee, was out at GameHorizon in Newcastle. Only been back home 30mins.
