Of course we all love listening to a little "So Solid Crew" while we enjoy our 4'o'clock tea and cake.

But recently I found myself wondering whether or not their squeaky-clean image was just a facade, and perhaps they had one or two blemishes in their past.

So I headed over to the SSC Wikipedia page to find out the truth. And to my utter delight, none of the members appear to have had any kind of run-in with the law (aside from the murder business).

God bless you So Solid Crew. I will continue reciting your angelic lullabies to my children.

(Thread point: WTF? Why are none of their 27+ crimes even vaguely mentioned on the wiki page?)

Because they're mostly mentioned on the various artists pages instead, since it was the various artists that committed the crimes, not SSC.

Only real crime was against music...and I loved that genre at the time...detest them.

One of them was done for murder. Can't remember which. The fella that has moved on into acting (can't remember his name either) got done for possession of a firearm too I think.

I had the pleasure of a couple of them on my landings whilst they served time at her majesties pleasure.

Thoroughly nice chaps o.O

When were you in? I checked Wiki and Asher D was the one found with the gun. Converted air pistol for live rounds. He was inside in and out in the early 00s though and YOC by the sounds of it. Carl Morgan was the one that got life for murder in 2005, so he might be the one in when you were in if it was an HMP.

some of the grime scene is great.

would rather listen to that than usa rap/hiphop.

go listen to good new grime there is some really great tunes about at moment.
