MSI have released a 2080 Ti with 16 Gbps GDDR6 RAM.

At a mere 5% faster than the old 2080 Ti with Ampere imminent, I think I'll pass.

It says it only a smidgeon over £1,300

MSI says that the new GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Gaming Z Trio is available immediately. I found it listed for pre-order in the UK for a smidgeon over £1,300. That is approx £100 more than the best priced GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Gaming X Trio I found, for a five per cent gain in performance out of the box.

What's wrong with it? It's not aimed at people with a 2080ti. It's clearly for people with a much older or no GPU. Were people rushing out to upgrade from a 980 to a 980 ti? Or from a 1080 to a 1080 ti? Well actually some probably did :rolleyes:

Even my Ti with micron memory does 16gbs

Your likely to get the same as every other Ti on the market just you don’t have to bother overclocking.
