Ok thought I'd take a wee gamble on a very cheap Xbox One from a newish eBay user. Bit of a laugh, if it turns up OK; score! If not used "pay later" option in PayPal so will be covered (well hopefully)

£200 Xbox One inc free Delivery

First contact with seller does not look promising lol

Hi, When will you be posting xbox?

Seller said:

Then got this last night

Seller said:
a will porst it ever when a finish work depending on time are tomorro morening sorry for tye delay

Got a dispatch notice today, with tracking number for myhermes although doesn't seem to be working but it may take a few hours to show up on system.

So what you reckon my odds are :D

(in before follow up thread, help seller ripped me off £200 and PayPal wont help!!) :p

Where are all these console only (no wires or connect) Xboxes coming from?

Iffy warranty exchanges?

This is the problem with pay later. I want to sell my xbox One but I know I will send it and the free games and the buyer will just say it is a brick in a box and not pay. Paypal won't care. Works both ways OP!

Yea seen loads of these, one seller said he got it as a warranty exchange for his borked console, looked and he had another 6 for sale.

Either something dodgy is going on or he's extremely unlucky :)

Perhaps MS is doing a Logitech and just sending out new consoles on complaint instead of requesting faulty one to be returned?

Maybe it's fine & he's selling it due to being unable to figure out how to turn it on (quite possible judging from his messages, but raises the additional questions regarding how he managed to make the ebay listing in the first place).

So many variables..., I'll just say... "good luck".

These are "advance returns" from Microsoft, they're sending out consoles prior to the knackered ones being sent back, they're supposed to put a £600 hold on the purchasers credit card first but it looks like people have worked out some way round that. Either way, dodgy as hell
