I'm looking for a new case, but am so confused on what to get . There always seems to be something negative about every case. I have a budget of about £100-200. I have an 8800gtx and a Noctua heatsink so the case would have to be fairly big.

Been looking at the Coolermaster Cosmos, Lian Li A70B and the Antec P182. But they seem to have a few big negatives.

Cheers ;)

Probably the akasa eclipse if you bungee mod the hdd's.
No case is perfect but the eclipse comes very close barring that i would say coolermaster stacker thermaltake armour or silverstone tj09.

you have to remember the big negative about the eclipse....it's ******* ugly!!

i'd go for a lian li

Right at this moment I would go for a Silverstone TJ07 in silver with a nice side window.

I don't think you would need another case after that.

Its about £200  but worth every penny! :D

My favourites

V2000B
V2100B (what I have)
TJ07 (would have got this but I had 6 drives and wanted to w/c)
TJ09
Soldam Windy Black Knight (hardest case on the planet to get hold of, unless you are in Japan)
Eclipse (only a mother could love it)

Ok looking at the options I like the Silverstone TJ07S (Bit pricey) Just have a few questions.

1. Will my 8800gtx and Noctua heatsink fit?
2. Is the case quite?

thanks :)

1. Yes they will.

2. Cases themselves don't make any noise ;) It will all depend on the components, some may have slightly better noise dampening (P182 for example) but the differences will be minimal.

Ok thanks, My current case (coolermaster wavemaster) I think makes the fans louder becuse the layout is poor. My psu seems to be the loudest because it's at the top (Don't know really but I think it's poorly designed so adds to the noice)

Get the TJ07, if you decide to go down the water route later you are all set.
Is it still about £200 where your looking?

If you have 1 hdd i would simply get a lian li pc 7 + III
if you don't mind the akasa looks and it looks a lot better in the flesh then i would get an eclipse just dont pay more than £70-£80 for one though.

Ive had this PC-70 since about 2001 so its seen a few installs, funny how I still keep coming back to it!

Drooling over a TJ07s now....
