So what happened to that Deus Ex graphics mod?

I'm in a mood for some Deus Ex again (perhaps not until I've done a few more CoD4 challenges though...), but I seem to recall there was, once upon a time, an updated graphics mod being made for it. It wasn't anything spectacular, but it looked pretty interesting. I never saw it finished, and a quick scan of various websites shows nothing. Anyone aware of what I'm talking about?

I've no aversion to playing it on standard graphics, 8 years old though they may be, but I'd be interested to see what a high-res patch could do for it.

Thanks in advance

PS: While we're on the subject, how would I go about contacting tech support for Deus Ex 2? It hasn't worked properly on this PC at all - just freezes at the menu, if I'm lucky enough to get that far. I had this same problem on the last PC, but by an incredible fluke that I can't remember, the problem disappeared. I get the feeling some other bug popped up to replace it, but I'll cross that bridge if I get to it. I've never really had much luck with tech support for games, to be honest, but I've posted up here a couple of times and no one has been able to help (not that I blame anyone for that), so I figure it's time to swallow my pride and see if the tech monkeys can help.

:edit:

Typical. I just realised I hadn't checked the Start menu folder for tech support info, and bingo, there it is. Still, if anyone is familiar with that problem and wants to save me the hassle of running in circles with tech support for a few weeks, feel free to help out. :p

Cool, thanks. From a quick look on their forum, it seems they're just about done, or at least done as much as they're prepared to do, anyways. They sounded a bit annoyed at the constant whining for release, and said roundabout now would be a release of some sort. Pity the world textures mod (on that site's forum area) isn't anywhere near done - estimated release is next year. Meh, I'll stick with standard graphics, maybe grab the first release from that site and see what it's like.

Speaking of texture packs, I installed in the Invisible War one just to see if if overwrote whatever was causing my crash problems. Surprise, surprise, it didn't make any difference. It might not be as good a game, but a decent-storyline-though-poorly-executed game is better than no game at all. Besides, I actually liked it. :o

Speaking of HD texture packs got the Duke 3D texture pack earlier this month and have to say it's awesome and best of all runs on my laptop in it's 1024x768 glory.
