Hi all, haven't posted any photos for ages so here's a bit of a mixed bag for you.

MACROS
First off I've been playing around with some closeup / macro stuff using a Kood +4 filter that I've had hanging around for ages and never really used. Surprisingly it's actually better than I thought it would be.

THORPE BAY
A little seaside town in Essex near Southend.

HADLEIGH CASTLE
The small town of Hadleigh is just west of Southend, on the edge of the essex marshes.

Cheers for the comments guys :) The beach hut photos were taken using a circular polariser. This has really bought out the strong colours.

*waves back* at ashtray_head - we should get an essex photo meet off the ground :)

Never been there despite the fact it's only up the road, what's it like? Dense trees or nice shade dappled woodland paths?
 
there is a bit of both really
will post some piccies in a mo...
Forgot to change the iso though.... doh!! Oh well its all part of learning
