Sliced beef tomatoes with buffalo mozzarella, basil, olive oil and crema di aceto balsamico.
Rigatoni with pork ragu.
A bottle of Antinori Tignanello 2005.

All prepared (except for the wine) by yours truly

Quality menu, safe in the knowledge that it aint going to be troubled by competition!

I think you are a top man and i have a lot of respect for you.

But how many people without the wealth you have are realistically slicling their beef tomatos and buggering about with the quality of their mozzerella?

What? The whole meal (minus wine) costs about a tenner. Sounds like a classic case of engaging mouth before brain.

So have a holiday, and when you come back, learn some manners.

Oh and hope its proper aceto balsamico, just brought some back from Fiorano, 30 euros for a small bottle, nearly fell over when she showed me the smaller bottle for 200 euros.

No it's not. You are right in saying Aceto Balsamico is the real deal, but "Crema di ..." is superb with mozzarella and tomatoes, and is served in many good Italian restaurants now.

It's just me in tomorrow so thinking about having chicken enchiladas. Bottle of Bordeaux of some type shall be drank I imagine.

Spie, whilst that bloke was an idiot your wine choice is hardly cheap. Send me a bottle please?

Tignanello is my favourite Italian wine. I haven't tried the 2005 yet. Usually I prefer the 2007, which is exceptional. We'll see.
