So whats the difference between these?

I always buy based on features I'll likely use/need in the near future. I wouldn't pay the £50 premium in this case

The six also has a better bundle of carp

vs

Free Bundle : CyberLink MediaEspresso 6.5 Trial, ASRock MAGIX Multimedia Suite

I don't know what the other differences in the board features are

Ok cheers for pointing those out I was having a bit of trouble spotting the differences. I hope someone else spots some actual performance differences... Id understand £20-30 for actual performance differences... but £50 for none evident ones? :/

The extreme 4 is not full size ATX either, why they would do that I don't know, maybe more potential to get a better OC with the 6?

Oh the Extreme4 isn't ATX? well that changes my view on it instantly... (that being anything that isn't ATX can gtfo and stay there xD) But I still don't see why the Extreme6 would be £50 more for being full ATX :/

I think with SB the chip is far more important to overclocking than the board. Even half decent 1155 boards can run a 2500k at 4.6GHz. Obviously for stratospheric overclocks a better motherboard might swing it, but how much does one need 5GHz over 4.6?

TBH I was looking at those two and there's so little between them (do a comparison on the ASRock site!) I didn't think the Fatal1ty was worth the extra.

Both boards cost similar to X79 equivalent ASRock boards too - I'm torn! lol
