Just wondering if anyone is using anything older than a Geforce GTX 285 in their main PC?

What's the cheapest card that would offer double the performance?

I have an emergency backup graphics card in my PC toolkit, its an ATi X300 SE,
Had to use it a few years back when my 8800GTX cooked itself.

EVGA GTX 260-216 circa 2008 used daily on my brothers rig. Still runs perfectly. Can even run Alan Wake, Arkham Asylum & few other late 2000s games as well.
