So which forum member is using the oldest Graphics card?

I still have my 12 MB 3DFX Voodoo2 3D Accelerator card, which required a standard 2D card to work. My setup back then was:

ATI 4MB 3D Rage II
Creative Labs 12MB 3DFX Voodoo 2
Creative Labs Dxr3 MPEG-2 decoder card (for DVD playback)
CPU was AMD K6 233 Mhz (for reference)

I still have the whole system in boxes ... no idea idea why I still keep it really.

There are older one's out there, but just found a 9800xt 128mb in the garage. (might be a 9600xt can't remember now, it was a few hours ago)

I keep an old DOS gaming PC around for playing old games - it was my main machine in 1999. It's a P3-450.

It has an Asus V7700 Deluxe as its main card - a Geforce 2 GTS (32MB). It originally had a Matrox Millennium G200 LE (8MB) but I got rid of that as the performance was dire.

There's also a Voodoo 2 lurking in there.

The oldest graphics card that I could still use if I was mad enough is a Diamond Stealth card with a whopping 1MB of DRAM from 1996.

The mid to late 90s were really amazing when it came to growth of technology.

I've got all sorts of old GPUs knocking around. 3dfx V5 5500 anyone? I might even have an old Trident somewhere. There's a box with an old VLB GPU of some description in the attic. Of more recent vintage and still in use is a Geforce 7600 GS AGP.

bfg gtx260 runs great an quiet, recently gave the fan a clean was clogged up with sooo much fluff, running cooler now :) when it breaks i'll stick my 8800 back in heh :p

I still have a BFG gtx260 lying around in case of emergency. Just recently upgraded from two Sapphire radeon 5850's to a Zotac gtx980ti.

I remember my first Gpu was a 3Dfx card and what a difference that made.

Not my main machine but...got a P3 933Mhz shuttle that runs 98 and an FX5200 PCI (gahhh!) and I am building an Athlon XP unit. GPU in that one is going to be a Ti4800se as someone gave me one fully boxed (Golden Sample too!)

Trying to find a voodoo card to stick in there but seriously struggling to get one :(
