motherboard: gigabyte P35_ds4

tried speedfan this shows core0 : 47oC and core1: 47oC (these max out at 66oC on full load)
the easytune software shows cpu as a single measurement and being 39oC, i assumed i had bad seating of the heatsink the first time i seated it due to the speedfan temps but now im not sure what program is monitoring the proper temps

should a dualcore cpu show 2 temps or does it still just have one temp monitor on it?

also any better software than speedfan anyone can recommend?

cheers

cheers, second question on the gigabyte DS4 rather than saying the voltage your setting it has the setting of +0.05 etc for memory voltage, the geil ram requires 2.1v so what setting do i need for this? i dont know what the default is

cheers

EDIT: i downloaded coretemp, it just came up with driver error constantly and i had to restart in order to stop it lol, maybe it doesnt work on vista 64bit?

hmm well in speedfan running orthos (this is at default speeds btw!) core0 and 1 max out at 70oC!!!!! think i need to reseat this thing, although i dont know if this heatsinks any good, just got it today from the local shop because a pin broke on the stock one

some xilence 4 headpipe cooler, think ill get a noctua one soon, birthday and payday thursday so i suppose i should have enough money :)

damn computers

EDIT: just reseated the heatsink, appears it wasnt making very good contact before, before the max temp was 71oC, now the max load temp is 63oC, i suppose i cant expect much out of a completely unheard of cooler but its better than having a heatsink thats only attached by 3 pins i suppose :p
