so who owns a razer mamba, i have a question or two

Having recently got myself a razer mamba gaming mouse, the wired/wireless one, what do you think of it, gotta say i love the blue lights on it and the charging base looks realy good with its blue glow, but i have a question or two, everything seems to be working correctly and the software does what is asked of it, but im wondering when in device manager should it just be listed as HID-compliant mouse and in properties it shows microsoft driver, also in control panel/mouse its just a basic hid compliant mouse listed with no control of buttons etc, anyone have the same or have i not got it correctly installed ?

The control panel does not contain the settings for the mouse buttons, you need to use the Razer Mamba driver software to do this. I found that the battery lasts a bit longer with the light on the mouse wheel turned off; this can also be changed in the Mamba driver software. The latest version of the software is available on the Razer support site.
