I moved my PC case and my wireless wouldn't connect to the network, thing is, I moved it, literally 2 metres from a very good signal point to a no signal point :X.. It's a USB WiFi adapter so I just got a USB extension lead and passed it back over to where it was sat before lol.. Just thought it was really wierd :X

wouldnt call it weird tbh, as your said you moved from a good signal spot to one with no signal area, have you thought about moving the router or whatever you have

Net Stumbler is your friend, it's informative to get an idea of how and where the signal drops off in a property. Nothing worse than moving the PC to find you can't get a signal!

I don't think it's the router that's the problem tbh because when i installed it i tested signall strength nextdoor and all over his hosue i got full signal apart from the room which is joined to mine.. I think my walls are wierd :S

I have one of these so it's not a cheap adapter either.. I found it in the carpark outside of 'A Certain Large PC Shop' just lying there! Haha :D

If you use netstumbler you can gain a better understanding of where in the room will have a signal drop off and where won't.
